Abstract: The IT Operations world is known for firefighting. Have you been thinking about how to shift your focus from firefighting to the future growth of the company? This was at the forefront for us as we transformed from a traditional IT Operations team to a team with a growth mindset of continuously improving our operations. We had to start with the basics of measurement. There is a famous saying “What is not measured cannot be improved”, so it all starts with defining at baseline at the operational, functional and enterprises levels. We employed the power of Performance Analytics to build efficiencies and to move the needle from running the business to growing the business.
