Abstract:
IT departments have been using ServiceNow to great success for many years, but how can we take those successes and apply them to other areas of the business? A pragmatic and well thought out architecture is needed to ensure that you design for scale, ensure consistency, and maintain flexibility to support unique aspects of each business area.
Non-IT departments often rely on point solutions, email or paper based forms. In this session we will take you through how we created a reusable approach to onboard our internal departments into ServiceNow using a single Scoped Application, while still supporting the intricacies of each department and discuss the impact that had on our overall ServiceNow solution architecture.
We'll discuss the approach we used to develop the data and security model that underpins our Scoped Application. We'll also discuss the organizational change elements that are faced when introducing technology systems to non-IT teams.
