Abstract:
As organizations push to develop solutions in a more agile manner, the ability to maintain consistency of developed code can be difficult. ServiceNow provides a vast array of configuration tools which allow code to be developed to deliver desired business outcomes. Client scripts, business rules, script includes, and the list goes on.
With multiple options available, spanning both server and client, how do we maintain the level of consistency in the way that code is developed across the platform while delivering at speed? By having a defined code architecture organizations can ensure that they have a common approach to code development ensuring that consistency, reusability, and technical efficiency are maintained while minimizing technical debt.
