Knowledge16 Pre-Conference Courses Info?

Hello Everyone!

Does anyone one know what plugins the courses focus on?   The topics look really interesting, but if you don't own or not planning on using the plugin, then it's probably not the best use of your time.

For example, if "15PC18 - Service Mapping" is based on having ServiceWatch, then it's not the best choice for me since we don't have it and are not planning on getting it.

Also, it would be nice to know which of these courses are the regularly offered courses.   For me, I want to take courses specific to Knowledge16 since I can take those other courses anytime.

You can cross reference with the Training and Certification Catalog.   No courses I know of are offered exclusively at Knowledge.   Between the pre-con training and labs, almost every single knowledge area in the product is covered.

I have looked at them side by side.   Some of them are clear cut.   The regularly offered "System Administration" is most likely the same as "15PC39 - System Administration".   It's where the title and description get fancy that it becomes unclear what they're going to cover and what plugins are involved.

Regularly offered "Project Portfolio Management" could be "15PC29 - Governing your ServiceNow Enterprise Transformation" or "15PC06 - Program Management Office - The journey from Mediocre to Insanely Great".   Maybe it's both since PPM is a 2 day course and they split it into 2 courses.

It would be nice to have more info than just guessing.

This is my first Knowledge16 conference and this pre-conference training is a little confusing to me as well.

My main question is, if these are the same courses as the ones regularly offered in 3 day formats, do the 2 day courses cover less content or are they accelerated?

My understanding and experience thus far is that its the same material.   The only exception that I am aware of is the scripting class.   In the past, pre-conference Scripting is two classes: Fundamentals and Adv Scripting.   (Normally, this is a three day course.)

This year they are changing Pre-Conference from previous years.   At first it was a little confusing with which options were half, one, or two days - nevermind there are so many more options!

Hope that helps!
