In ServiceNow, "Content Owners" typically refers to individuals or groups who are responsible for the creation, maintenance, and overall ownership of a knowledge base (KB) article. These individuals may include subject matter experts, content creators, or designated owners who are accountable for the accuracy and relevance of the information within a specific knowledge article. When setting up a notification for Content Owners, you would want to notify those individuals who have ownership or responsibility for the content of the knowledge article.

  1. Article Author: The person who originally created the knowledge article.
  2. KB Owner: The individual or team responsible for overseeing the knowledge base as a whole.
  3. Content Owners: Individuals or groups designated as owners or subject matter experts for the content covered in the specific knowledge article.
