I am in the process of reviewing the Amaze knowledge plug in. Has anyone else used it? Do you like it?
- Do we have any insights on the time or resources required to set it up fully?
- Are there any licensing costs? The monthly cost appears to be a “subscription fee.” What does this include?
- Does the monthly $2500 include any support?
- How often do they upgrade (versions) and how would that impact us?
Solved! Go to Solution.

We just implemented this last month actually. My two cents:
- It was extremely easy to install and set up
- You can pay monthly or yearly, There are no additional recurring costs other than the fee. There is an additional set up fee you can choose to pay for to have help setting it up and configuring templates. We decided to not partake and have been fine
- My experience with their support has been amazing. You create an account on their site
support.intellective.co and submit tickets there
- They provide version releases every couple of months that you will go to your plugin manager to install. We install in lower environments first for writers to test out and then push to production
- Our Tech Writers absolutely love the product
- Installing this created an issue with span tags </span> that I had to work with their support on and found it was an issue between Tiny MCE and Amaze that they provided a fix for

Funny you should ask as I just reached out to them to see if they would do a demo of Amaze and an upcoming Puget Sound Society for Puget Sound Chapter Meeting. If/when they agree, you can attend and ask them plus learn more. I will let you know. I am also trying to get another awesome tool called firefly.ai to demo their tool. Not a SNOW tool but awesome.
BTW, Several Help tools, like Adobe RoboHelp, that let you apply templates to your KBs, but you will need to generate them using their tools. There are pros and cons. But depending on how many seats you need, that might be a cheaper alternative. I am not up on the SNOW component of using RH although I am an Adobe Tech Suite Training Partner. If anyone wants to know more, I can review that part. It is a fairly new add-on.

Hi Linniesea,
RoboHelp user here. I created a developer instance of ServiceNow, and created a RoboHelp publish profile to publish to that instance. I am getting a connection error to that instance, using the appropriate admin account/password. If you have successfully output RoboHelp to SNOW, I'd love to hear about it. I do have an email out to Adobe support - but if you have more knowledge, feel free to share. Thanks!

Hi Lin ( @linniesea ),
If you want a demo if Amaze, feel free to schedule one here. Also, we recently did a webinar that talks about the awesome benefits of Amaze. Here is the video:
