Can't resize tables within knowledge articles in Tokyo

Hi All,

We recently moved to Tokyo from Rome, we skipped San Diego. But when I try to change the size of tables in a knowledge article, it doesn't seem to let me change the shape of it in any way. i.e. I can't change the width of any of the columns or diagonally resize the table... When I hover over the corners or any of the column borders the cursor icon doesn't change to indicate that it can be resized by dragging.

All I get is a faint blue border appear around the table which I can't interact with:

Am I missing something? Do you need to resize exclusively via CSS now?

Thanks,

Chris

ServiceNow hasn't reviewed and approved my postings either as a Symtom, Diagnosis, Solution post or as a Question.  I don't know what to do to get them to review and either approve or reject them.  It's frustrating.

I wonder if Ashley Snyder, the Principal Outbound PM for knowledge, can help figure out how to get this noted by SN Developers. With so many of us considering this to be a defect, I'd hope they'd do something. This must be a global defect amongst all modules, not just Knowledge. Why would all modules want to right click to link and only link?

Hi, all! I reached out to some folks at ServiceNow, and they're looking into what @James OBrien wrote, so hopefully it can be approved and posted.

Also, found out that the workaround for this issue is to hit CTRL (or CMD) and then alt-click. Then, the regular menu we're used to comes up.

Hope this helps!

hi @Chris Armstron1

for me honestly. i don't build tables in servicenow anymore. instead i build them in Word. design them how i like and copy them over with formatting. i used to get so frustrated with the servicenow editor while working on tables. i hope this helps.
