Can't retire a Knowledge Block

Hi all,

I'm new to using Knowledge Blocks so having some trouble understanding what to do here. I need to retire this knowledge block but I keep getting the error message 'Block cannot be retired as it is currently being used in other articles'. I have removed it from all articles that had it inserted and retired them but i'm still getting the same message! What do I do?

Thank you! I'll check these, I have most of the rights of a system admin since I handle all of the knowledge articles.  I'll check this.  We are on Vancouver, but this one block thinks it's still linked to an article it has been removed from.

as first check I will verify if glide.knowman.allow_retire_block system property is set to true.
