It was only a few short weeks ago that we started down this journey to help build better habits. While I heard that some of you easily used these two habit posts to work up to your habit of going to the gym, I heard that the coaching habits posts helped you with better conversations with those you work with.

I know what you are thinking now...where can I get more information about habit building? I am glad you asked! Read more with the blogposts that started it all!

While I initially created these posts with our KCS program in mind, to help the coaches have better conversations with their knowledge workers, these really apply to anyone with a coach/coachee, mentor or manager/TSE relationship, etc. These help to break down difficult conversations into easier to ask questions and formulas, with why it works. I think I used this example more than once, about knowledge workers and creating content, and a barrier for whatever reason. These questions can help get to the heart of the issue. Is it your knowledge worker doesn't see the relevance of creating knowledge, do they really enjoy solving incidents/cases and don't mind the extra work, or do they have aversions to creating knowledge?

As a Regional Knowledge Team Lead for the Knowledge Team, I work with Coaches to support them and their knowledge workers. We have monthly 1:1s, weekly Coach meetings, and offer any kind of support we can to help them and their knowledge workers on this journey. I love the peopling part of my job, being able to connect with so many different people, and to figure out how I/we can best help.

Did you miss one of the Coaching Habits blogposts? Here's the full list in order of appearance!
