When we view an article in
- Platform (https://myinstance/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB00xxxx)
- Service Portal (https://myinstance/hrportal?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB00xxxx)
- Agent Workspace
We try copy the contents of a knowledge article to Outlook, Chat, Word, Teams but we don’t get the pictures.
Only the texts copies over with this empty box.
Printing to PDF does not allow copy of the images.
The use case is a scenario/snippet in an article that the Help Desk wants to put into the Outlook, Chat, Word, Teams to send to the user.
We do have some articles posted on the portal that users can be sent a link but in our technical articles sometimes it is easier to put the steps into Teams.
Is there a way to copy the images?

Hi,
You can use any screenshot tool to accomplish the same.
You can also grab the permalink to the article and share it that way (this enables engagement from the user back into ServiceNow)
You can also try using the gear icon in upper-right:
then going to Printer Friendly Version:
and try and copying and pasting from there or right-click > print and then save as pdf, etc.
Please mark reply as Helpful/Correct, if applicable. Thanks!
