Email notifications for article quality index (AQI) reviews

Hi folks,

We would like to use the AQI in ServiceNow, but we do not want to send email notifications when the AQI is performed.

My question is, does the plug-in com.snc.knowledge_advanced simply control the email notifications for AQI? Will disabling this plug-in disable any other functionality than that listed in the table below?

Email notifications for article quality index (AQI) reviews

The email notifications for an article quality index review on knowledge articles are available when your administrator activates the Knowledge Management Advanced plugin (com.snc.knowledge_advanced).

The following table describes the recipient list of notifications for an AQI review on knowledge articles and the associated conditions when a notification is sent.

Recipient list of the email notification for AQI reviewsNotification Condition Recipients
KM: AQI on ArticleAn AQI was performed and submitted on a knowledge article with the ownership group feature disabled.

User (author or reviser) who last updated the article

KM: AQI on Ownership Group ArticleAn AQI was performed and submitted on a knowledge article with the ownership group feature enabled.
  • User (author or reviser) who last updated the article
  • Ownership group
Note: An email notification is sent to a reviser of a knowledge article when the article versioning feature is enabled.

We are using the AQI functionality with the email notifications disabled.  It is possible to configure each associated email notification and turn them off.  This will not impact performing the AQI and having the scores being recorded.  It has been working fine for us this way for several years.

Thanks, @Mike Van Vooren . Can you tell me, is this turned off by disabling the com.snc.knowledge_advanced plug-in or some other method?
