Great news for ServiceNow users and advocates of digital accessibility! With the recent release of the Yokohama instance, ServiceNow has introduced an exciting new tool called the Accessibility Checker. This feature is a game-changer for creating more inclusive and accessible Knowledge articles within the platform.

The Accessibility Checker is conveniently located in the TinyMCE toolbar when editing Knowledge articles. This powerful tool allows content creators to easily identify and resolve accessibility-related issues in real-time, ensuring that the information shared is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

Here's how it works:

1. Open a Knowledge article you want to check or create.
2. Look for the Accessibility Checker icon in the toolbar of the article body.
3. Click the icon to run a scan of your content.
4. The Accessibility Checker window will display any issues it finds, along with suggestions for resolving them.
5. You can choose to "Repair" the issues automatically or "Ignore" them if they're not applicable.
6. If your article is already fully accessible, you'll see a success message.

This tool is a significant step forward in ServiceNow's commitment to accessibility and inclusion. It empowers content creators to ensure their Knowledge articles are compliant with accessibility standards without needing extensive expertise in the field.

By using the Accessibility Checker, you can:

- Improve readability for users with visual impairments
- Ensure proper use of headings and structure
- Check for appropriate alt text on images
- Verify color contrast for better visibility

Remember, creating accessible content is not just about compliance—it's about ensuring that all users, regardless of their abilities, can access and benefit from the information you share.

We encourage all ServiceNow users with contribute access to Knowledge articles to start using this fantastic new feature once it is available to them. Let's work together to make the ServiceNow community more inclusive and accessible for everyone!
