How do I send draft articles to staff for content check and amend prior to finalising & publishing

I’m the Knowledge Manager, and I review and approve knowledge articles. Before publishing, I need to send them to staff in other departments for feedback and input. Currently, I copy and paste the articles into an email, but the formatting doesn’t transfer well, making it time-consuming. I can't send them as a PDF, and while I could share a permalink after approving the article, it doesn't allow them to make edits directly. What’s the best way to share these articles to maintain formatting and allow real-time collaboration without adding them to the live database?

We currently have our KB configured for "Knowledge - Instant Publish".  There are some SMEs that like to circulate updates within their team before Publishing changes.  They are frustrated because they have to Copy & Paste from SN into Word and use Track Changes as they go.  I assume there is no better way to do this with our Instant Publish design?

I can publish live but it means the agents using the information instantly and some provide feedback when the article is essentially draft.

I've sent KB articles at Review Status for our IT folks to review and provide feedback. Currently, we only open to IT departments.
