How do you ensure knowledge work is visible at a group level?

Across every other type of record type, groups can be automatically linked which means these can be reported on and shown on team dashboards. Knowledge doesn't automatically link to these same tables though and KFTs, reminders of articles expiring etc go directly to the author and only the author. What practices have people put in place to ensure this work is visible at a team level, that Knowledge work is prioritised along with other tasks when planning team capacity etc?
