How to create a knowledge base approval workflow where the assignment group users are the approvers?

We have a requirement at our company where they want knowledge articles to be approved by the users under the assignment group the article is assigned to. Is this possible?

Try the Ownership group feature.

We are planning on use this feature and it appears to do what your are saying. We are on Rome and I don't think much has changed.

Highly recommend testing this out in dev first as there may be some ACLs or tuning you may require to get it working as you expect it too for your environment.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Yes you can configure it. First let me know what you have done so far.

Hi Sourabh,

We haven't done anything as, we are having trouble even to have a starting point. Do you happen to have an example?

Thanks,

I am already using Assignment groups and we are not yet on Advanced Plug in with Ownership groups. From what I've read Ownership groups have type of "Knowledge" instead of "Itil" or "Catalog" and you cannot reuse the names. So now I'm wondering, do I have to use the Assignment group name followed by a KM or something? I want my approval records to only go to certain members of the Assignment group with a particular role, and not everyone in any group in that role. We are on Quebec, moving soon to San Diego and will add Advanced Plugin sometime after that.
