How to update author for multiple knowledge articles ? Author field appears to have restriction to modify so unable to update all.

Hi,
I am trying to update the author for 83 knowledge articles as the current owner is moving to another project. "Update All" does not work as this field has restrictions and cannot be updated from list view.

No way! We've been asking for this. I have Knowledge Admin. This wasn't out of the box for you was it?

I guess not, LOL. We had a lot of modifications prior to me taking over, and I'm still figuring out what's custom and what's OOB.

I do have knowledge_admin role. I am still unable to update the author field for the articles from list view.

I do it from the list view of the knowledge table as a knowledge admin. I Select all the cells I want to change by holding cntrl and dragging down and then I double-click on the top one and choose the new author. It will skip any that are checked out.
