Hi team,
I found something today that seems very weird to me. We have a "can read" User Criteria that allows only users with a certain role to read the article. That User Criteria was then set to "Active = False" by mistake. The effect is that NOBODY (except admins etc) can read the article. I would expect an inactivated User Criteria to just be ignored by articles applying it - not locking everyone out.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Or can someone please confirm if it works the same way on their platform?
thanks in advance /Tommy

Hi Tommy,
Please check the system property
glide.knowman.block_access_with_no_user_criteria
Deny access to a knowledge base when either Can Read or Can Contribute user criteria list for the knowledge base isn't specified.
For these kind of access issues, always use User Criteria Diagnostic feature, it will tell you where is the problem.

Thanks for your reply, will definitely check out the property!
I didn't mention, I already tried the Diagnostic feature, but that gave results as if everything was fine.
Which now makes me doubt its credibility...
cheers /Tommy
