Good morning, all,
We do not have a retirement workflow and allow our knowledge publishers to retire articles using their discretion. However, there are times when we wish to know who retired an article. Is this possible OOTB without creating a custom field? (Either through standard reporting or auditing?)
Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam,
Do you mean you do not have an Approval Workflow for retiring articles? Even with an instant Retire workflow you should be able to see who put the article into the retired status from the Activity log on the article.
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, where applicable. Thanks!

Thanks @Eoghan Sinnott, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Can you provide further assistance?
1) Where, exactly, do I find the Activity log on the article?
2) Is it possible to report on a list of all retired articles and who put the article into the retired state?
Again, thanks,
Adam

@amarks , You will find activity log for articles in Work Notes.
Yes, you can pull report for retired articles list and who retired them. Use a column field in the report named "Updated by".
