Hi,
this article mentions the 'Standard' knowledge article template
- can anyone advise why this template isn't visible to me in the templates list despite the fact that it is displayed as an option in the 'Article Template Selector' when I create a new article?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi kc1959,
you won't find the Standard template in the [kb_article_template_list] table because it's not really a template, but rather the default kb_knowledge.do form. The other templates that you see on that list (eg. kb_template_what_is) are child tables of the default.
I hope this clarifies your doubt.
Kind regards,
Lucas Vieites

Hello,
it was discovered that the Standard article template is visible in the old interceptor but not in the new one.
You can switch the interceptors in the bar in the bottom part of the page ServiceNow > Articles > Knowledge > Create New > 'Switch to older version of this page'.

For anyone that may come across this, the standard template is available in the new interceptor by default but if your instance was customized per Disable Standard Knowledge Template from kb_knowledge_create.do - Support and Troubleshooting then standard template will not show. Check your ArticleTemplateUtil script include.
