META in Knowledge Management

I've been trying to explore use of META tags on Knowledge Articles, however for some reason not able to get them to work. On my PDI I added a few meta-tags for two of my knowledge articles and assumed that if I search for the text in those meta tags, it should show up on the portal. 

It didn't do it right now, and I thought it might take a day or two to index. but two days later I am still where I was earlier.. Meta tags don't show up in search, however the article content seems searchable.

Using San Diego, I'm having the same problem as Prashant.

I followed Suzzane's recommendations without success.

The docs are a bit thin on Meta...
