Hi,
All earlier versions are in the OUTDATED state for one of my KB article. The latest Version of this article is in Pending Retirement.I want to RETIRE It . I do not see a Retire button on article ( being an admin ) .How to retire it ?
Can you please let me know if you have a solution for this ?
regards,
TIA

To share, we encountered this in our environment last year. Our dev team has to run a script to retire all 100+ article. The explanation was these articles were imported from other instance and the article versions were not imported.

A knowledge article must be related to a retirement workflow for it to be retired.
Does your KB have one? Have you checked what it does? It might be waiting for an approval for retirement.

Agreed. I think that if the article state is "pending retirement" then it's waiting for approval to be retired. Check out the Approvals tab/section of the article and there will probably be a list of the people who are in the workflow to approve the state change.
