Tabs and Accordions in Knowledge Article

Hi Everyone,

I am curious to see if anyone has tried to successfully have tabs and accordions in a knowledge article which is easy to maintain by authors that are not HTML experts.

Agreed. There's no way they'd consider this a reasonable, justifiable expense.

It all depends on whether you can show the ROI for the tools being used. For 2 authors, if you save 2 hours per day using a tool like this, it would already pay for itself and the company would have much better and actionable content and 25% efficiency gain for the 2 authors.

Quite jealous at the moment.    Here is a great idea for ServiceNow.   Either buy Intellective out so you can add it to ServiceNow or license their product and kick TinyMCE to the curb.   Just don't charge thousands extra.

If anyone is interested, here's the expand/collapse idea in the SN idea portal. It only has 68 votes - but it's 5 years old. Maybe the ServiceNow team can weigh in on plans to implement this functionality.

Many may know this already but since I found this areticle while trying to look for guidance on when to use an accordion, I thought I'd pop in to say that the accordion function from TinyMCE is included in Xanadu. 🙂
