UNABLE TO EDIT KB ARTICLES IN PUBLISHED (IN PROGRESS) STATE

Hi all,

I need help in editing KB articles in DEV instance however, the KB articles does not have any checkout button. Also I checked the state and it is in PUBLISHED (IN PROGRESS) State. How can I edit these KB Articles?

Hi @Josh Schools, just to confirm, a USER with admin role from the OLD INSTANCE will need to manually assign that Knowledge Article to a Knowledge Base? Is that correct?

No, since the articles are already imported into the new instance, an admin from this new instance will need to manually assign these knowledge articles to a knowledge base.

Hi @Josh Schools, I'm still new to ServiceNow should I do this in DEV Instance or PROD instance? also, can you teach me how to manually assign knowledge articles to a knowledge base?

Thank you Josh for helping Byron, I got a bit unexpectedly busy. 

@Byron, I think it depends on which Environment (DEV/PROD) that you're trying to modify them in. That is the instance that the admin needs to assign them to a KB.
