Why was the description field not visible in the portal view or homepage page of an article?

Hello,
Do you of any reason why is the description field not showing in the portal view and homepage view of and article?

Homepage View
Portal View
Do you know of any way to show the description field?
To add on, I found this info message on the "description" field which verified why its not showing outside of platform format, but is it possible to display it?

Hi @Rain Vaine ,
This Field doesn't have any system Property such that description starts showing on the KB article.
OOTB setup doesn't have "Description" field in the Default view, you might have brought the field into the view by doing "Configure Layout".
So, unfortunately NO, you cannot display the Description field in portal view or homepage view.

If you want to have several fields in a knowledge article, it is a lot easier to install the knowledge management advanced plugin and create a custom article template. Here you can create as many fields as you want 🙂 and they are very easy to set in the order you want
looking at your post, the main field is named "article body", so i am assuming here you are using the standard OOTB knowledge article.

Hello,
I also tried creating an article template but it is still not showing the created Description field.
Ang it seems that when creating a field in article template, it is creating a new field, what we want to use is the oob description field.

After you have added the field, make sure it is active.
then go to a new article, right click on the grey bar, select configure and form layout and add the fields in the order you want
make sure the fields are listed on the right hand side and in the order you want
