📋 Streamline Legal Content Review for LSD!

Marketing wants to launch a campaign next week. PR has a press release ready to go. Sales needs a customer presentation cleared before a big pitch. And somehow, all of these land in legal's inbox — with no structure, no tracking, and no clear way to prioritize.

That's where Legal Content Review comes in.

📘 What Is Legal Content Review?

Legal Content Review is a legal practice app included with Legal Service Delivery (LSD) that gives legal teams a structured, automated workflow for managing inbound content review requests from across the business. Instead of fielding ad hoc emails and chasing down attachments, legal teams get a centralized workspace where every request is tracked, prioritized, and resolved.

Employees submit content for review directly through the Employee Center — and legal manages it all from the Legal Counsel Center.

🔍 Why It Matters

Without a structured process, content review requests pile up in shared inboxes, deadlines get missed, and legal teams have no visibility into their true workload. Legal Content Review solves this by:

  • Replacing email-based intake with a structured, trackable request process
  • Giving legal teams a centralized view of all pending and in-progress reviews
  • Capturing issues found during review and tracking them to resolution
  • Creating an audit trail for every review — important for compliance and risk management

📄 What Gets Reviewed?

Legal Content Review supports any document type that requires legal sign-off before publication or distribution:

  • 📣 Marketing materials

Advertisements, campaign collateral, and branded content that require legal clearance before launch.

  • 📰 Press releases

External communications that carry legal and reputational risk and need sign-off before distribution.

  • 📊 Presentations

Internal and customer-facing decks that reference claims, data, or commitments requiring legal review.

  • 📝 Briefs

Position papers, regulatory submissions, and policy documents that need legal oversight.

▶️ How It Works

  1. Employee submits a request Using the Employee Center, an employee submits a content review request, attaches or links the document, and provides context about the deadline and content type.
  2. Legal team receives and assigns The request lands in the Legal Counsel Center workspace where it's triaged, prioritized, and assigned to the appropriate legal reviewer.
  3. Issues are captured and tracked Reviewers log any issues found in the content directly on the request record, creating a clear record of what was flagged and why.
  4. Resolution and sign-off Once issues are resolved, the legal team closes the request and the requester is notified — with a full audit trail preserved.

✨ Key Capabilities

  • Structured intake via Employee Center for consistent, complete request submissions
  • Centralized Legal Counsel Center workspace for managing all content review requests
  • Issue tracking built into the review record — no need for separate email threads
  • Cloud document integration with OneDrive, Box, and Google Drive
  • Audit-ready history of all reviews, issues, and resolutions
