We've been heads down working on Legal Service Delivery for a while now and I'm extremely proud to be able to formally announce the opening of our forums for Legal Service Delivery.

Legal Service Delivery? Aren't you just an IT ticketing system?

We're so much more.

As Marc Andressen famously said, "software is eating the world". IT and workflows are central to every company. The foundation if you will. But IT and workflow are also the DNA enablers of other business processes.

ServiceNow now has 4 clouds.

The ServiceNow family of clouds includes IT Workflows, Customer Workflows, Creator Workflows and Employee Workflows.

Legal Service Delivery is part of the Employee Workflows cloud, which can also be thought of colloquially as the G&A (General & Administrative) cloud. Within that, we have HR Service Delivery, Workplace Service Delivery and Legal Service Delivery.

Yes. LSD. We're leaning in.

I asked for permission to make this announcement on ceiling mounted flatscreens with a Beatles soundtrack, but then Covid hit.

LSD is a trip. Pop by. We'll have lots of snack-able content for you to help kickoff or step up your legal transformation journey.

Best Wishes,

Nagib

Hi Nagib,

Good summary. I am trying to install Legal Services on my PDI but cannot find the plugin:

  • Legal Service Automation CMS Portal [com.snc.work_management.cms]

Any idea how we can get this installed on PDIs?

Thanks

Hi Ellie!

Legal Service Automation is a legacy plugin. On an instance, go to plugins (which should redirect you to Applications) and then search for "Legal". That will list the available plugins.

Legal Service Delivery plugins begins have the prefix sn_lg_ops.

Hi @Nagib!

I am also trying to install Legal Service Delivery application in my PDI but cannot find the plugin.

I tried searching with "Legal" and also with "sn_lg_ops" in the applications but no luck.

Any thoughts?

On a PDI you don't grab software from the store page, you look within your instance - it will show up there under system applications.
