Bulk Cancel requests

Hi all,

I'm trying to bulk update the State field of legal request records to "Cancel." When I am in a list view, and select the requests which I want to cancel, right click on a column heading, and select "Update Selected" a blank record is displayed to make the requested update, however the "State" field is not editable. Anyone know if it is possible to bulk update "State" field from list view in LSD and, if so, how?

You may need to create an ACL to allow users to List edit the state.

But if you dont want to do that, You can create a List UI action, which can Cancel the request when you select a list of records and select that List UI action

Thank you very much. This is helpful. We are going to look into using of one of the two solutions you suggested.

We have had our admin team create a script for bulk cancel.  In the script it will also suppress notifications to the original requestor, in our case.
