■ Observed Behavior
We have confirmed that the “Send for Signature” button appears on the CMR record after the Legal Final Review task is completed.
However, in our environment, the button is not intended to be used once the contract status reaches “Legal Review Completed (Final Agreement Reached),” so we would prefer to hide it from the screen.
■ Information Currently Understood
- The contract status field has been customized.
- According to our former administrator, the button is displayed when the State is “In Progress,” which is said to be the OOTB specification.
(However, we do not have certainty on this point, so we would like to confirm the specification as well.)
■ Items We Would Like to Confirm
- What OOTB conditions determine when the “Send for Signature” button is displayed?
(e.g., State, Contract Status, etc.) - When the Contract Status field has been customized, is the standard display logic still applied as-is?
- Is it possible to hide the button when the contract status is “Legal Review Completed (Final Agreement Reached)”?
- If hiding the button is possible, which method is recommended?
- Adjusting the UI Action condition
- Workspace-level configuration
- Other approaches such as ACL or UI Policy
- Are there any impacts or considerations regarding standard functionality when making the button hidden?
■ Background
We are reviewing the display logic in order to prevent operational errors, based on understanding of the existing system behavior.
