In 2012, ServiceNow established a Life Science Panel with representation from Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and KPMG. Agfa Healthcare recently was added to the panel in 2014. The purpose of the panel is to create the opportunity for an open and collaborative discussion on how to better support our Life Science customer needs and at the same time create efficiencies in the approach. There were 4 goals out of this collaboration:
- ServiceNow Community for Life Sciences — establish a community page to allow customers the opportunity to share ideas with each other, obtain updates and provide feedback for ServiceNow Life Science initiatives.
- ServiceNow CORETM for Life Sciences - develop a set of information that could be easily accessed by customers to help support their regulatory needs.
- Shared Audit - establish a shared audit program to reduce audit cost for both the customers and ServiceNow by leveraging a single audit to meet audit and assessment requirements.
- Life Sciences SaaS Standard - work with industry standard bodies (e.g. GAMP, IVT, etc.) to develop a Life Sciences SAAS Cloud Standard that would allow for 3rd party attestation.
