That’s a wrap! With the end of 2023 marks the celebration of Legal Service Delivery’s successes and accomplishments this year. From Utah to Vancouver, Legal Service Delivery traveled globally to bring various new features and capabilities to its legal customers. Follow along as we reflect on Legal Service Delivery’s journey this year.

 

In 2023, we focused on three main goals: Streamlining legal workflows and processes, delivering configurable workflows to our customers, and enabling our customers with workflow analytics. With new dashboards and tracking capabilities, Legal Service Delivery provided legal agents and leaders with fast, insightful, and easy-to-use tools to expedite legal processes.

 

Empower Legal Departments in Utah

The Utah Release featured updates to legal storage capabilities and expanded legal outreach. Our focus in Q1 was on streamlining workflows across different teams and departments, while offering enhanced integrations with third party platforms and expanding storage capabilities. The goal was to minimize steps in the legal process and drive legal workflow productivity and simplify contract collaboration.

 

  • Legal Investigations now allow cases across different departments to triaged and routed to Legal. For example, complaints sent to HR departments can be sent between Legal and HR attached with full case details. Whether it’s through email, the Employee portal, or an anonymous report, all requests can be reviewed by multiple departments.
  • Legal Catalog Builder enables legal teams to quickly create new legal workflows. Using Legal Intake Form templates, employees can submit legal requests that are automatically routed to the right legal practice area for review.

  • Third-party contract review enables employees to submit contracts from other parties for review by the legal team. Legal teams can easily create revisions and send them to external counterparties.

  • Response templates reduce response times related to legal requests.

  • Updates to Legal Counsel Center to improve legal practitioner experiences and allow for faster solution delivery.   

 

Elevate Legal Experiences in Vancouver

The introduction of ServiceNow’s Next Experience was a game-changer for Legal Service Delivery. In Vancouver, Legal Service Delivery proudly delivered two new features and enhancements to our legal capabilities to our customers.

 

  • The Next Experience Legal Counsel Center offered users an all-new dashboard with intuitive capabilities. Fully equipped with visual dashboards and live metrics, legal operation leaders and teams unlocked data-driven insights into the legal process to measure performance and boost efficiency. With a revamped legal home-base, legal practitioners and operations leaders received a personalized workspace from which they could see, monitor, and prioritize legal requests as they come in. Our customers experienced improvements to productivity, legal service delivery, and transparency within their workflows.

  • Using Legal Transfer request, Legal fulfillers can now transfer incorrectly submitted legal requests to a correct Practice Area & Category which eliminates the need to close requests and re-open them. Fulfillers can also include the correct catalog request item so that employees can provide the required information.

  • iManage integration enables attachments to legal requests to be stored in the popular storage solution used by legal departments.
  • Legal Simple Contracts added support to cloud storage capabilities including OneDrive and Google Drive.
