Adding Hover Text on Catalog Variables

Hover over the variable to display some given text.
If I use the tooltip field for hover text, it only accepts lengths of 40 by default. I want to add text with a length of around 200 without modifying the length size of the variables.

Hi AG, 

Need to add a pop-up on the field when we hover over on the field because if add Label Type Field or HELP TEXT, it gonna change the layout of the form which is not recommended. we just want to show more information in the hover over or by clicking on any icon as a popup which does not change the Form Layout at all.

I agree, adding a label will change the layout, but out-of-the-box, it's not possible to add a 200-character message.
