How to show column's name on a reference variable field.

Hi,

I have the a reference variable field on my catalog item. I used the ac_ref_columns attribute in order to show specific columns when searching values, the problem is that the users cant see the columns name, just the values. 
How can I add the column name in addition to the values.

I don't think that's possible to show as of now unfortunately.

This is expected behaviour on portal.

as others mentioned its not possible but if you want to have something as work around you can add hep test always expanded as below,
