Good Day SNUG Community!

My name is Jill , new to the SNUG community, I work for J&J Technology Services, ITSM Change Management. Working on transitioning from a custom approval framework to servicenow baseline approval process including approval policies.  We'd be open to speak with a peer to learn how you have your change approval workflow set up and criteria you use to determine required change approvals.

TIA!

Hi @Jill Jackson-Jo, I'd love to connect and discuss some of the change approval workflows that I've encountered in my past 10 years or so of working in ServiceNow. I'll send you a message via LinkedIn with my contact info.

Good day @Jill Jackson-Jo
Our workflows are quite extensive for approvals. We are actually in the process of making adjustments, but I would be up to discussing some wins and challenges we've gone through over the past 15+ years.

Hi Laura,

I specialize in change management and have set up my company’s change management solution using approval policies and flow designer. Before that I worked at a partner and have been working with them since New York. I would be happy to connect and discuss your approval use cases. We actually have a fair number of people that used to work at J&J that now use the change management workflows that I set up. Overall the approval policies are basically deduction builder tables that are pretty flexible but they aren’t super intuitive to work with.
