CCL1200 - Building a Killer Workspace Lab Help Thread

In this session, you will start with a working, but limited workspace for a custom Fleet Vehicle Management application. You will configure lists and forms, create page variants with conditions, and work with custom tabs and actions based on real-world requirements. You will also learn how to use data resources, client state parameters, client scripting, dynamic data binding, and formulas in UI Builder to make your added page variants more dynamic.

Brad - I would love to do this lab, but other than the PDF instructions and forking from GitHub, none of the links work.  It doesn't even open in UI Builder.  Any chance you can update the links and verify the workspace will open in UI Builder in a Xanadu instance?  It would be much appreciated!

@gjz Yeah the knowledge labs are only available on nowlearning for a year, but the lab guide should have instructions on how to complete it in a PDI. That being said, I'd take a look at our newer lab guides that can all be completed in PDIs here: https://sn.works/NEworkshops

@Brad Tilton Thanks for the tip, I was really hoping to do this particular lab since it had so many things in it to learn.  I'm creating my first workspace (without AES, we don't have a subscription) and any hands on experience is really helpful.  However, I will do the labs in the link you provided. Thanks a bunch!

The older lab should still be doable in a PDI based on the lab guide, but it'll be pretty out of date as so many things have changed in UIB since then. The newer ones cover all of the same concepts, are updated, and go into more depth.

Hi @Brad Tilton! Is it possible somehow to open the experience with Xanadu release? I was able to open the Fleet Vehicle Management experience with the Washington release but not with Xanadu (I followed the guideline steps: https://bradtiltonnow.github.io/knowledge/CCL1200/). Thanks

There shouldn't really be a difference between releases in opening the experience, but that lab is a few years old now. I'd take a look at some of our newer ones from last year: https://sn.works/NEworkshops
