The RPA Desktop desing studio provides 3 types automation bots namely Attended / Unattedned / Skilled Automations. In todays digital world automations are found everywere and its all about having the work done faster and efficiently with help of bots and tools. Lets understand these bots in simple terms.

Attedned Bots :

Consider having a personal assistance at your desk doing your repetative job with minimal inputs ? Attended bots are those  which needs inputs/feeds inorder to finish the automation or proceed further. In simple terms they require minimal human intervention to fulfill the automation.

Simple Example :

Lets say your creating a automation to login into servicenow community portal were your need to provide a sensetive information like 'password' on your login screen, Here you can use attended bots which will wait for your input i.e password inorder to continue the login process.

Unattedned Bots :

Now, buy understaing atteneded bots you might have guessed with are unatteded bots, These are bots which requires no human intervernsion to process the automation. They work quietly in the background, often scheduled to run at specific times or in response to certain events. They follow predefined rules and processes to get the job done, reducing errors and freeing up human employees for more valuable work.

Simple Example :

Lets On your windwos OS you want to clear the system 'temp' folder ever time the C:/ Drive has reached the threshold storage of 95% or above. Here no human intervention will be involded the system will automatically delete all the files under 'temp' folder once the C:/ drive has recached 95% based on events.

Skilled Bots

Skilled Bots, They are the specalist or experts in the world of automation. They can handle complex task that requires high level of skill. Lets say you have a hugh chuck of data which needs to be analysized regularly and create decisions out of it.

Simple Example:

You work in an IT helpdesk, and you often receive requests from employees to reset their network passwords. While this may seem simple, there are various security protocols and verification steps involved to ensure that the request is legitimate. Skilled bots can do this kind of smart actions.
