Hello Community,
I am using ServiceNow RPA Desktop Design Studio for automating a desktop workflow. When recording actions using the Launch Recorder functionality, I am able to capture the correct UI element and specify the "Click" action without issues during design.
However, when I run the bot, I consistently get an error stating that the "Click" activity failed to execute because the UI element could not be found. I have verified that the element is present in the application at runtime, and the selectors appear correct during recording. Still, the bot does not recognize or locate the element when executed.
Error details:
Platform: ServiceNow RPA Desktop Design Studio
Issue: "Click" activity cannot find the recorded UI element during bot execution
Recorder: Launch Recorder, element captured and action specified correctly
Troubleshooting done: Verified selectors, confirmed element visibility at runtime
Has anyone faced similar issues, or can suggest steps to resolve recorded actions failing specifically at runtime (despite appearing successful during recording)? Are there best practices for improving UI selector reliability in ServiceNow RPA Desktop Design Studio or ways to debug runtime failures for recorded UI actions?
Any guidance or recommended troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
