Hi Sachin,
Playbook declarative action buttons are not theme-aware, so changes made via Theme Builder won’t affect them.
Those buttons are rendered using Now Design System (NDS) styles and their colors are hard-coded by ServiceNow to maintain consistency and accessibility across the platform.
At the moment, there’s no supported way to change the color of Playbook action buttons specifically.
You could technically override the CSS but it’s not recommnded since:
Playbooks run in managed UI components
CSS overrides are brittle and may break on upgrades
ServiceNow does not support this customization
If branding is a requirement, the usual options I have seen done are:
Adjust expectations and align with NDS standards
Raise an Enhancement Request with ServiceNow
Build a custom UI (UI Builder / Workspace component) instead of Playbooks if full visual control is needed
Answer: Its not possible via Theme Builder, and no supported approach today that I am aware of.
Hope that clarifies my Friend
