Disable (+) option from chrome tab in Agent workspace

Hi All,

We created an agent workspace for a custom application and would like to disable the (+) button (the capability of creating new records) from tabs. Please refer to the screenshot.

Options Tried:

1. As these are configured in the "chrome_tab" property for a workspace, I tried removing the JSON, but as it's a mandatory field, it doesn't allow me to save the record.

2. Deleted chrome_tab property (With this option, the workspace displays no tabs at all.)

Could you guide me on the possibilities to achieve this functionality.

OR click on profile --> Then click on Configure Workspace

Then go the the New Record Menu Item related list . and make this record Active False.

Hi,

Set the value to {} in your chrome_tab property instead of deleting it. This would work.

Hi Jagjeet,

Setting the value only to {} does remove the option to Create New record. But it shows and extra empty block in the list. How can we remove it ?

Also on deleting the whole json script, the Home/ List/Inbox icons of the workspace are getting removed. 

The solution provided above to update Menu items, I'm not able to find the related list itself in Service Operations Workspace
