I spun up a PDI on Xanadu and am messing with trying to get a map to show lines similar to what you'd see when Google maps a plane path. I tried this with the Map Pages, but no luck deciphering how to make that work with Polylines. Instead, I installed the Geo Map Component for UI Builder which seems promising. However, even after installing and trying to repair it, the component is not available to add inside UI Builder to a custom workspace I put together (just has a home page, nothing special).
This Geo Map Component I think is entirely separate from the Geomap visualization which is far more limited. Has anyone encountered this and been able to add the Geo Map Component to a workspace?

Hi there, did you figure this out? I have the same dilemma. I am aiming to have a google map component in UI Builder for use in workspace.

In case anyone else cares about this... the geo-map component is hidden from selection because it is flagged as being 'internal' to ServiceNow in the component table. This fact explains to me why the documentation is so poor, but if we are not meant to use it, I don't get why there is public documentation at all. This kb makes you think that there is SN supported way to enhance your workspace with relevant maps, but as far as I can tell, there isn't. I would be keen to be proven wrong.

Late reply here, sorry I didn't see a notification when you originally replied! Good find... unfortunate, but hopefully we'll get something official with it soon. I've got some good use cases for it, so I might push my account team for some more info.
