How to specify the view for a record

I've used this excellent guide to build a new workspace for my team:

I want to be able to specify a particular view when an incident is opened.

 

Does anyone know how I do that?

That just relates to the lists though does it not? If something is being clicked through a visualisation then that's not going to be picked up?
