Regarding a List Access in a Custom Workspace

Hi,

I have created a Universal Request List in a custom workspace for an application like below :

But my problem is when I am impersonating with someone this list is not visible.

I haven't created any audiences for this list category but still those people are not able to view the list.

Can someone help me with how do I check why it's not visible to others?

Any inputs are highly appreciated!

Thanks.

Hi @Appu2,

Is that particular user able to see other list menus in the custom workspace?

Can you check if the user has access to the Universal Request record?

Cheers

@James Chun

Yes user is able to view other lists and I have checked that user is able to see the Universal Requests from Native view(backend view) but in workspace it's not visible.

@Appu2, thanks.

That is very odd, a few things that may be worth checking:

  • Is there another variant of that page that may be using a different set of lists?
  • Is there a condition to hide the entire list if there are no available records in the list? Try creating a Universal Request and assign it to the user
  • Try granting the admin role to the user and see if that fixes it. If so, there could be a restriction by the role. Since you haven't set any audience, it could be at the view [sys_ui_view] or some other places
  • Try clearing cache
  • There are two deprecated fields (Groups and Roles) on the [sys_ux_list] table. I am not sure what it does, but maybe they are populated?

Hope it gives you some directions, cheers
