Our old UI header banner, used to look like this because we had our application navigator contents below it
Our new UI is looking like this
having all the application navigator contents in banner itself.
I wanted to add a text (for ex. Service Management) near the logo as you can see in old UI. We have system properties (glide.product.description, glide.banner.image.title) where I can change the text but in new UI, the text appears only when we hover on the logo.
Is there any possibility to either add a text beside the logo as we had in old UI or remove the entire logo and just have a text alone in place of logo?

Hi there,
No there's no option to add a text or something next to the icon. Only through the on mouse popover that you already shared.
Just not possible.
Kind regards,

In Next Experience it is not available. Only Mouse hover will work.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi Ashwarya,
As Mark & Atul suggested that it is not possible, I think you should try an alternate approach to this which is put an image up there which has both logo & text.
To do so follow the steps below:
- Open MS Paint on your laptop
- Paste the company logo.
- Write down your text in a notepad or word in the style you want and take a screenshot of it. To take the screenshot of only text use Shift+Windows+S. Use the cropping tool and select your text. Screenshot will be taken.
- Go to paint window and do Ctrl+V to paste the image. This image will be pasted as a second image on top of your company logo image by default.
- Arrange the images together by dragging and dropping them and then just Save as the file format you want.
- Once saved, open the image and check if it is what you want.
- Go back your ServiceNow instance.
- Navigate to System Properties > Basic Configuration UI 16.
- Change the banner image for UI 16 and save it.
Let me know if you need any help after following above steps. Mark my answer correct if my answer helps.
Thanks,
Utpal

What's the reasoning behind this? You do have a couple of options depending on the persona needing this and why you're looking to do it.
The easiest thing to do is just create your own image with the text you're looking to show and replace the oob logo with that.
If the persona needing this is an admin/developer persona you can enable the new instance tools utility menu introduced in Vancouver. That will show the header title below the header for admins.
