Start chat with users in Next Experience UI without Connect Chat

In Connect Chat, I could start a conversation with any user or group of users in the system. Connect Chat is no longer supported in Next Experience. Is an equivalent feature available?

Thanks Aman. Do you know if it's possible to start a conversation with other users in the instance without Connect Chat?

If you are an existing consumer of chat you will still be able to use it, its unavailable only for new customers.

Thanks for the follow up Aman. Seems like Live Feed which is mentioned in that article is also deprecated in San Diego. From what I notice there is no way to start ad-hoc conversations with other users, only chats based on assignments using AWA.
