[UI Builder] Change value in form based on the tab selection

Hello, is there a way to change value in the form based on the tab selection in UI Builder?
I want to change the value of custom field in the form (request type) based on the selection of the tab.
IF

the user select XXX request type tab
THEN

the custom field in the form will change to XXX request based on the tab selection

Hi,

I am hoping that you have access to record sysid in both of the tabs.

If yes, then you can use update record data source to update your field. Execute this data source on page ready event of your page(tab).
