UI builder filter data resource based on @state.selected_value

Hi there,

I have a UI Builder page where the user selects a Group [sys_user_group] from a dropdown and I need a Data Resource to filter all the related incidents. I basically want something like: Table=incident and Conditions=assignment_group=@state.group_selected but somehow this syntax doesn't work and I hope someone can guide me how to do this?

which kind of data resource are you using here? Check the below images, if it helps.

Hi there,

It is NOT saving that filter for me. I set the filter as per you suggested, but when I re-open the filter, it is set to blank again. I set the filter as per image below and then Apply. Also, when I do the filter as above, the Save button is still disabled something like nothing has changed in that data resouce? Is it saving the filter for you? I am in Vancouver.

Yes it's saving for me. Dot walk to the sys id field in the Assignment group while setting the filter. Can you check the macroponent once if the filter has saved even if it's not showing up here in UI Builder. As the save button is disabled, that is suggesting the filter is saved in the backend but ideally it should show when you open the condition section.

Thanks for the response. Really appreciate it. I set it assignment_group.sys_id and now seems to be saving the filter. However, when I am trying to bind my List or Visualisation components to that data resource I get error. Is it working for you by any chances? Please see below:
