Hello Community,
How can I customized the States on the VTB - Flexible Board so I can track the child task when QA is testing the card? Have you every customized states and do you have a screen shot of it?

Hello @Kay Hadley,
You can track QA work on a Flexible VTB by adding custom lanes for your QA stages. Here’s how:
Create or open your Flexible board.
Add new lanes named “Ready for QA” and “QA Testing”.
Make sure your task table has the custom states or fields you want to track.
Add tasks to the board:
- Open a task record (e.g. an Incident or sub-task).
- Click the menu icon (or right-click the form header) > Add to Visual Task Board.
- Choose the board you want to add the card to.
- Open the board from the confirmation message.
- The task will appear in the first lane by default .Drag and drop it into Ready for QA or QA Testing as needed.
If you want lanes to automatically reflect a field value (so moving the card updates the record), use a Guided Board instead. Point the lanes to a custom field (e.g. QA Status) with values like “Ready for QA” and “QA Testing.”
