Workspace: Activity Post Types not stored in user preferences?

Hello, 

In the workspace as part of the Activity Stream Overview component, we can select 2 "Post types": Additional Comments and Field Changes. 

When changing these values the system remembers your choice, but this preference is not stored in the user preferences. Does anyone know where this preference is stored? We would like to only set this to "Additional Comments" for all users.
