We have an internal policy we need the mobile app to have a different timeout setting than our UI. We are on Istanbul, SN has confirmed this feature is not available and we should submit an enhancement. We have set the UI session timeout to a higher timeout setting and set the mobile to a lower setting. The mobile app still does not timeout. Has anyone else out there experienced this with Okta and what was your workaround.

Hi Dennis,
Here is an overview of how to configure session timeouts for the ServiceNow mobile apps.
ServiceNow Mobile App Session Timeout Configuration (iOS and Android)
In my testing some time back, the app was keeping their session alive as long as the apps are active in the foreground - keeping this session alive does _not_ require any user interaction. Once an app has been backgrounded, and the token expiration time elapses, the user will be required to login once again.

We have tried all those settings and have been working with Techs at SN and the mobile timeout is not working. Do you have OKTA and mobile time outs working independently of the UI session timeouts?
