We are releasing a major expansion to our Now Assist generative AI product suite on November 16th. These new capabilities will allow for you to transform your experiences and increase productivity in a number of ways.
Please contact your account representative for more information on the below features and the relevant licensing details.
This allows for you to create a version of our Virtual Agent leveraging the power of generative AI. Key highlights of this feature include:
- Ordering from the Service Catalog via conversations
- Q&A for ServiceNow Knowledge articles
- Intuitive, user-friendly guided setup
You no longer need to build out multiple scripted conversations in order to enable self-service by users within the Virtual Agent - simply set up Now Assist in Virtual Agent, and it will use your Knowledge Base and Service Catalogs to handle incoming asks. If a user is to request a catalog item, Now Assist will guide them through to submission of the form via prompts to complete the various fields.
Within the setup experience, you have the option to configure branding, greetings, and the sources of information for Knowledge and Catalog items, allowing for you to have a Virtual Agent tailored directly to your organization's needs. Now Assist for Field Service Management
Agents working in the field now have the ability to generate resolution notes and summaries for their current tasks within the mobile application, resulting in greater agent productivity for those working from a mobile device.
This new feature converts plain text into low‑code workflows so developers no longer need to build flow automations from scratch, improving the time‑to‑value for organizations and reducing the automation backlog. Once the initial workflow is established, developers can easily make continuous adjustments and refinements using the no‑code design interface in App Engine.
Google Cloud integration within the Generative AI Controller
Expand your ability to create custom use cases by connecting directly with Google Vertex AI or Makersuite via our Generative AI Controller. This allows for you to harness the power of Google's LLM with ease in a manner similar to our integrations available for OpenAI and Azure OpenAI.
Subscription Management (Available in December)
You can now track your usage of assists within your Now Assist products within the Subscription Management Dashboards. This will deliver you insight into which features are consuming assists.
Results from previous search results are now cached, allowing for faster response times for common queries.
Our summarization feature now supports the ingestion of records related to the primary record, allowing for greater content to be ingested when generating a summary.
