Overview
Now Assist Content Recommendation helps agents generate contextual, AI-driven content directly within form fields (such as Comments or Work Notes). This feature improves response quality and reduces manual effort by providing intelligent suggestions based on the record context.
Prerequisites
Now Assist plugin installed and active
Appropriate Now Assist roles assigned
UI Builder access (required for Workspace custom placements)
Configuration Steps
1. Access Now Assist Admin
Navigate to the Application Navigator
Search for Now Assist Admin
Open Now Assist Admin
2. Create a New Context Menu Configuration
In Now Assist Admin, go to Now Assist Experiences
Select Now Assist Context Menu
Click New under Configurations
3. Configure General Details
Under the General Details tab:
Select the Table (e.g., Case, Incident, Change)
Select the Form Field where content recommendations should appear (e.g., Comments, Work Notes)
For custom locations:
Configure the trigger as an action button placed on the page
In Workspaces, placement must be configured using UI Builder
Content can be displayed as:
A modeless window, or
An embedded card within the form
5. Configure Experience
In this section, define how users interact with the content recommendation.
Default Action
Action triggered when the user clicks the recommendation button for the first time without selecting any content
Actions
Initial actions performed when the trigger is clicked
Refinement Actions
Follow-up actions that allow users to refine or regenerate the AI-generated content
Actions for Generated Content
Define what users can do with the generated content, such as:
Insert into the field
Share or reuse the content
6. Define Access
Specify the roles required to access this Now Assist capability
7. Select Display Options
Choose where the skill should be displayed (Form, Workspace, etc.)
Optionally restrict visibility to specific roles
8. Review and Activate
Review the configuration details
Click Activate to enable content recommendation for the selected form field
Output
Content recommendation appears as a now assist icon on the configured form field
AI-generated suggestions can be reviewed, refined, and inserted directly by the user
